The weekend of April 27, 2007, Jenn and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in St. Michaels, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. It was a great weekend, and while we were there we were able to enjoy the festivities of the St. Michaels Food & Wine Festival. This event is only a few years old, but it just seems to be getting bigger and better. We had a great time, drank lots of wine, and just sat around, watching the boats go by. It truly felt as if we were thousands of miles away from the DC area.
But the thing I really came to realize while sipping wine, is how much my life has changed for the better since meeting Jennifer. I'm amazingly lucky to have spent the past 5 years (8 if you include dating), with such an amazing, insightful, and fun woman.
I'm very much looking forwrd to the next 5 and 50 years we have together.
